Director Sharon Windfrey
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor committed to helping the helper. I find that those who are always there for everyone else often tend to neglect themselves.
My goals are to offer you the opportunity to identify challenges, as well as develop and implement goals for the future.
I am trained and well-acquainted with working with those who have experienced a multitude of challenges. I believe in taking a collaborative approach by employing various treatment modalities.
If you are interested in working with me, please feel free to call.
I also offer supervision to Limited Licensed Professional Counselors.
I am a School Social Worker with over 25 years of experience. I am currently working on my Doctoral Degree in Education. My life's passion is addressing the needs of and providing guidance to children, adolescents, and young adults.
Life stressors and trauma affects everyone and assisting others through the healing process is an honor. My goal is to help others be the best version of themselves. Social Work is truly a calling and I humbly answered the call.
It would be my pleasure to serve you!
I love working with children. My personal belief is, "Just because they are young, doesn't mean they aren't facing giants!" My overall goal is to help children and adolescents become aware of their voice, their worth, and their purpose.
My counseling experience is rooted in working with youth ages 4-18. I provide support to this age group by using methods that help build self-regulatory skills, promote self-awareness and self-love, develop growth-mindsets, tools to build resilience from traumatic experiences, and coping skills to help change maladaptive behaviors.

Cortez E. Pittman
I am a recent graduate of Wayne State University's MSW program. Prior to that, I received my bachelor's degree in psychology from Virginia State University (an amazing Historically Black College/University located in Ettrick, VA). By attending and graduating from both universities, I have developed the skills and ability to communicate, connect, and assist diverse demographics of people.
Helping children is more than a job/career for me - IT IS A LIFESTYLE. My initial thought is to give, make others feel joy and feel loved; but my primary focus is assessing and improving the individual's overall well-being. These core values made it easy to select and join the best fraternity in the world: Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Incorporated.

I do understand that it can be very difficult to reach out to a professional for help, but once you do, you will experience a sense of relief that you are not alone and there are people who care deeply about what you are going through and genuinely want to help. You just have to take the first step and call.
